SHOCKTANE - becoming numb or in shock when surrounded, bombarded and energetically attacked by an overwhelming amount of insanity and negative manipulation; feeling lost, disoriented and bewildered in a cruel world. Shocktane is, in a sense, system overload. Societal pressure and an all out marketing blitz embedded materialism into the matrix and fabric of society and bombarded the population with violence and wars, atrocities and abominations in so many forms to desensitize the masses furthering the agenda. The Shocktane music video conveys this message in a semi-metaphorical sense in that the lead character, who has been controlled and manipulated via mental programming through his television (and possibly many other forms), discovers an incredible new medicinal substance that is supposed to create a whole new level of euphoria. But, when this elixir is combined with the subliminal programming manipulating him, it creates a superminion. One side effect though, is that it can create total insanity.

I wanted this video to be raw and unrefined, taking a look on the other side of the tracks that most people choose to look away from.

The song "Strobe Light Eye" is a direct result of real events that transpired from a relapsing addict embarking on a crippling 5 day #detox, walking the tightrope between life and death, becoming temporarily blind, then experiencing a bright white strobe light in the right eye for several days. A wise man once said that everything is a ceremony, and this particular ceremony became one of deep spiritual connection, and a true vision of just how precious a single moment of life can be, and how easily this gift can be misused and unappreciated. Sometimes we get caught up in our own selfish petty thoughts and ways that we are not able to see the good that is directly before us. By the same token, the darkness, doom and negativity that occurs frequently on Earth, can seep into our sub-concious if we are not careful, eroding our hope and faith, causing anxiety, anger, wicked critical thinking, and at worst, hate. And, in my case, it took a "Strobe Light Eye" to literally see the light.
